Grade 2 Homework
Your child will participate in our daily book exchange home reading program R.E.D. Please have your child read books with you and be sure to use the reading strategies included to discuss what your child has read.
We will also occasionally send home additional math games for you to play with your child. These games do not need to be returned to school. It is recommended that your child engage in simple math activities every day (e.g., sort laundry, count place settings, measure cups of rice for cooking, etc.). It is also recommended that your child engage in simple reading and writing activities every day to reinforce concepts taught in the classroom.
Thank you for working together to improve your child’s success at school!
